Do you believe in evolved and unevolved signs? Why?

My personal opinion is that if between 2 of the same signs you met, one was more mature and wise and the other wasn’t, I’m pretty sure it had to do with other placements and aspects they had in their chart.

I’m 100% sure there is no such thing as evolved and unevolved signs, it’s the placements and aspects that make the whole difference.

I refer to them more as self-aware and not self-aware versions of the signs, I think it’s a combination of self-awareness and other placements. I’ve met people a lot older than me with really similar charts, like one spiritual teacher I admire a lot has my same sun, moon, Mercury, and Venus, I thought she was so cool and I’d never be as cool as her before finding this out and then she told me we had the same placements and she had the same struggles with addiction that I had when I was slightly younger that I’m still trying to move on from.

It’s more about evolved and unevolved people. And even “evolved” people can act “unevolved”, and vice versa, at times. Their sun signs are only a very small piece of the story influencing how they act.

I don’t think it’s something to “believe in” necessarily but there are differences in “matured” vs “immature” or maybe a better word is “developing” *planetary* energies.

Both evolutionary and esoteric astrology branches cover this. Evolutionary astrology is more about where the person is on their spiritual path. Esoteric is more about the evolved states of the moon signs – especially scorpio moon.

I’m over simplifying but they are worth looking into if interested.

For me I see the signs as energy and energy can be expressed both constructively and destructively! I’m an Aquarius so I have the potential to be cold, cruel, and detached, or the potential to be humanitarian, social, unique, inspiring, etc. By doing inner work I can become aware and work on those parts of myself that are detached and cruel to avoid hurting myself and others. Someone who is not aware may keep using this Aquarius energy negatively unconsciously and hurting themselves and others.
Just like sadness, anger, happiness, both can be expressed in healthy or toxic ways

I read somewhere that displaying unevolved traits of a sign can manifest as acting like the negative traits of ur opposite sign. Example: Cancer is nurturing and its opposite is Capricorn. A negative Capricorn trait is being cold. An unevolved Cancer may act cold.

Everyone will go through hardships one way or the other, it depends if they choose to evolve or stay the same.

Half of the signs are more open to evolving and the other half usually choose to protect themselves, & because they’re not evolving & seeing their input in the problems, they stay the same non-evolved version.

Evolved-the light version, full of empathy, understanding, self respect, respect for others, full of love in their own way, takes responsibility for their own actions, honest, grounded, pleasurable, understands themselves inside & out, strong boundaries, adaptable, etc.

Unevolved-the dark, hurt, self pity, manipulating, gaslighting, not taking responsibility for their actions, insecure, takes things personally, can’t see the full picture, etc.
