Dreams about deities turning… Weird

By weird I mean sexual. I had a VERY weird and almost off putting dream last night.

So I have goals, once spring is officially here and in sull swing, to begin to make offerings and Alters to Persephone and Hades. They’re a good couple, In my opinion, and I want some of the small benefits, if any, from them and they’ve always been my personal favorites. Even before i became a witch.

Last night though was… Weird. I had a dream that I was gathering things and items from a target to cosplay Hades during halloween. Then the dream changed to me being in all oure white, a top a horse with Hades, watching and going after people to drag them down. No one else could see him but me.

I just automatically knew he was looking for me, and soon he grabbed me, did a song and number like in disney, and practically coerced or basically forced himself upon me.

I accepted it, and soon turned into his “Little play thing” and I was, I later found out, the reincarnation of Persephone. I was really weirded out by this. Is it a prank? Is it a warning? Is it the modern day era of romanticizing that couple in particular, that made me have a wet dream about the deity couple i wish to worship this coming spring and summer?

Please help… I’m a baby witch and This is really starting to make me almost nervous to begin a shrine for wither of them, as I’ve heard they’re both jealous Deities…

from a very psychological point of view, your brain is storing info from your experiences. info as in, fears, thoughts, conversations. i don’t believe that dreams convey much valuable info *most of the time.* i’ve had clairvoyant dreams but most of them are just from my experiences of that day specifically.

a lot of people don’t know it but your dreams are pretty malleable, even when you don’t know that you’re dreaming. if you’re dreaming about someone and you start feeling…. horny? like, in your sleep, there’s a good chance you’ll just start having sex with them. much like seeing a toilet when you have to use the bathroom irl.
it could also be related to intrusive thoughts, pushed down desires, fears, etc. if you’re *really* uncomfortable with the thought of having sex with your brother you might have a nightmare about having sex with your brother. if you *really* want to have sex with 1990’s Peter Steele (who doesn’t tbh) you might have a pleasant dream about it.

if you were uncomfortable or feeling guilty about having sex with the deities i would assume that’s just your subconscious leaching info about how you feel about them in relation to you. if you felt, like…

good about having sex with the deities you might *actually* want to have sex with them, or you were just feeling horny at the time.

Brains are weird and they use dreams to process things in bizarre ways. When Apollo and Artemis reached out to me after a dream spell I had a dream about a beach, a giant SUV, and a lot of raw sausage just…… on the ground?? Apollo was a white, blonde 20something running on the beach in the distance and I was standing in the shade next to this SUV with Artemis who had dark gray skin and silver hair. She pointed at Apollo, who I watched for a few seconds. Then I glanced at the ground where there was a pile of raw bratwurst in the sand and when I looked back up at her she just smiled at me. I honestly think a lot of deity dreams are just products of our brains trying to process the feelings and information we’re receiving from a deity. The same way people who feel like they have little control over their lives often have dreams of their teeth falling out even if that’s not something they actively fear.

Dreams are portals into the subconscious. Sexual dreams can reflect a desire to be closer to the divine, and other metaphorical concepts. You are ok. Your brain may be just working through something. Don’t take it to seriously.

I dreamed my head was on his lap and he was petting me. I woke up like. Hm weird. Kinda nice. And moved on. It was during a time where I had wanted comfort, so I chalked it up as him supporting me.

I have had dreams of having relations with Persephone and I don’t even like 🌮, I’m all about 🍆. I think it’s just a subconscious projection of feeing a powerful draw to them, as Persephone is my Main goddess
