After 2 years of sexual harassment and discrimination, I have today officially filed my complaint about this with the investigative team of HR.
Two years of weekly nagging about my clothes, my relationship status and just my womanhood overall are going to be history. Two years of being treated as a dumb fragile little girl in desperate need of strong male guidance are coming to an end. Done with the screaming matches to get my point across without interruption. No more just playing behaviors off as “that’s just a thing he does, don’t worry about it”.
Playtime is over.
And that’s just my case. This is excluding the stalking he did to another coworker in and outside of the office and the targeted persuit of young women in the department.We have banded together. Arms linked and backs straight. We are not crazy or silly girls who misread the situation. I turned in 5 pages describing the harassment by your hands.
I am sad there are women on the team afraid to report. Rather blaming themselves for the situation you pushed them in.
You treat us like prey for you to hunt and pick at at your leisure.I am not prey. I’m Diana.

Not giving legal advice. You can always send copies of your case/evidence to you state’s labor department…to start a real case….just saying….

I’m so sorry you had to go through TWO YEARS OF HARASSMENT, but I’m so proud of you and your fellow coworkers for banding together to deal with this moron.

“Not All Bullies Yell And Throw Things” is an excellent book about exactly what your talking about. Unfortunately since HR has previously brushed you off, I hope it doesn’t turn into the company defending themselves to avoid a lawsuit rather than him getting what he deserves, but maybe since you’ve brought such a strong argument it might finally put him through a fire. The book I just mentioned actually goes above and beyond, stating that if you have bad HR, you need present to HR the loss of their bottom line with having a Workplace Bully on staff, especially in a position of power. The wasted money of training employees, quitting, witnesses quitting (average 2 witnesses per one victim) the book lays it out really nice. It’s on Amazon Kindle Unlimited, I got $5 for 2 months. It’s really an amazing way to have a sure idea on where to go and make sure you’re all getting what you deserve from this!
