I normally hate spiders but for the few exceptions I like (usually garden spiders) I name Charlotte

As a kid we had a brown house spider named Lurch. He guarded the bathroom sink area. He was the size of my palm with his legs all splayed out. One of my sister’s friends killed him one day out of ignorance that he was family. It was a sad day.

Mine’s called Shelob. She feasts on flies and wasps in the summer.

We call all spiders “Steve” in my house. So we have a shower Steve, big Steve, and garage Steves. Only shower Steve lives indoors. We love watching big Steve when they catch something in their web. I swear it’s better than TV. Sometimes we purposefully turn on a light at night that spotlights on their web to draw more insects.

Anyway, all this to say, my vote is for Steve 🙂
