Mars in Leo vs. Leo rising

I have noticed that these placements translate very similarly, moreso than any other Mars and rising placement in the same sign. Anyone else observe the same thing?

I will say this: one of my best friends was a Leo rising, and I a Leo Mars. We shared the same sense of humour and swag. Lmao. We were in sync in the best way. We also dominated social outings

I agree that they act similar, but Leo Mars doesn’t have the physical features of a Leo rising, specifically the mane of hair and leonine lips/mouth.

Leo Mars here, I never considered them being similar but now that you point it out, I can totally see it! I know a Leo Rising who has some similar qualities as far as drive and ambition goes although we have vastly different goals.

I have a mars in leo, sun in leo and leo rising all in the 1st house.
I’m a hot head like the Hulk .
Now that i am in my 30s, i am now aware when i am getting really angry and i should really stop myself not to do things that I’ll regret later.

And i can say I’m a horrible person, sometimes I notice myself being childish and giving tantrums.
And then later on regretting after i realized how awful I acted.

But I am nice when I’m in a good mood and funny 🤣

I’m interested in seeing other people’s experiences/ observations. I’m a mars in Leo in my 10th house, so I definitely feel the fiery energy drive me towards manifesting my passions into reality.

My daughter has Mars in Leo and no other fire placements and I don’t get how she attracts so much attention. She’s also a Cancer/Taurus/Pisces Moon.

My brother was (he sadly, has passed away) a Leo rising + Pluto in Leo in the first. He was an incredible artist and sadly…also an alcoholic. He was rather introverted guy (Venus + Mars in Virgo) but when he was drinking, he could be much more talkative. Also, he could be a so-called “humble braggert”. But-he was SUPER talented…
