I have noticed that these placements translate very similarly, moreso than any other Mars and rising placement in the same sign. Anyone else observe the same thing?

I thought it was just me who noticed this. One of my friends has a leo mars and I noticed we both get along really well (I have a leo rising) and we both share the same sense of humor and love to go out. Sometimes we can get a little flirty with each other too lol

My Mars, Venus, and Jupiter are all in Leo within 8 degrees. I tend to attract prominent fire energy people to me and get along best with them (even as a Cancer sun/Mercury and Taurus Rising).

I do have a firey temper, I’m competitive but not overly so (I just don’t like losing but I am graceful when I do). I don’t always like receiving attention because of my appearance, I frequently dress down so people don’t look at me, but I do feel a need to get people to interact with me. I’m also fiercely loyal and protective. I do feel Leonian influence prominently, moreso than my other placements.

Leo rising would ve very royal and will have high standards while mars in Leo would love to work out in public. Leo rising would show off his or her class while mars in Leo would make insta reels snapchat doing martial arts, kicks baseball etc. Leo rising would have shiny skin whereas mars in Leo might have any type of skin. Mars in Leo is great for youtubere etc. Wheras Leo risings are good at stock market acting etc.

The natural first house is aries, which is ruled by mars. So yes this makes sense.

I’m aqua Sun, Taurus moon, Leo rising. Socially in not very extroverted but I can be a great socialized when I’m on the spot. I think my Leo rising comes out in my desires and energy towards business and service related endeavors. I always have new ideas and projects I get super enthused about

What causes other rising/Mars combinations to not work as well?

My Mars is in Leo in the 10th. Maybe it’s my strong Pluto conjunct my ascendant or stellium in Scorpio but I don’t observe the same thing at all.

I don’t exhibit many Leo qualities if any. The competitive nature, ambition, drive, extroversion and enthusiasm, are absent in me. The placement of Mars is where we spend most of our energy – I work, I do work a lot, but I have no career and never will. I have jobs and that’s all it will ever be due to my lack of passion / drive / ambition. As for image – IDGAF. I’m happy being a hermit. The 10th house does rule the dominant parent and my mother is a Leo who has scared me away from Leos as anything more than casual fleeting relationships. Which seems to be fine with Leos.

The attributes of my placement I do exhibit could be attributed to other placements as well – so is it Mars in Leo that brings that charisma or being a double Libra? Is it Mars in Leo that brings the libido or a Plutonian with Scorpio stellium? Just no on the Mars in Leo expresses the same as Leo rising, at least for me.

I made a new friend last year and thought, “He’s GOT to be a Leo;” but no, he said Aquarius. So I asked his birthday. He’s not sure of the time of day other than mid-morning, which could put his ascendant in Aries (that would fit.) But yes – Mars in Leo at any rate!
