1. **All posts must contribute to the progression of witchcraft.**
1. ***Educate***: What can others learn from your post? What are you looking to learn by posting to the board? How can you progress others in their craft, or how can you progress your own?
1. If your post cannot present this idea (for yourself or others to learn) then it does not add to the progression of witchcraft and will be removed.
2. Images are allowed on Saturdays and Sundays and Rule 1 applies.
1. On **Saturdays** ***ONLY***: Any witchcraft-related image may be posted. All rules must still be respected, though on **SATURDAYS** ***ONLY*** Rule 1 will be relaxed.
3. New accounts must have enough karma to post a new thread to the board.

1. Your belief is your own. Don’t dictate your beliefs as law.
2. Exclusionary ideals are not tolerated on r/witchcraft.
1. Crusading: Telling others that they are not allowed to practice “X” belief system because they are not “Y Race”, or any variation of such.
2. Gatekeeping: Stating your opinion as “law.” Your ethics are your own, and thereby nobody else’s.
3. Both Crusading and Gatekeeping are exclusionary ideals and will result in a ban. How long depends on the severity.
3. BW will not be a filtered phrase. Scroll past it.
1. Complaints, whether new post or comment, is crusading.
4. **No politics.**
1. Do not discuss POTUS or PLT or PM, etc, activities or policies. No governmental policy discussion.
2. Posts about using witchcraft with intent to affect politics are allowed as long as it does not discuss political action or policy.
5. **Nothing that will physically harm another person.**
1. Keyword is physical.
6. **Only light ailments may be asked about.**
1. Don’t ask for or offer medical advice. Go see a doctor.
2. Mental health. If you’re depressed, go see a therapist. See your Family Practitioner. Get on some meds. They help.
3. ***WITCHCRAFT CANNOT DIAGNOSE AND CANNOT CURE OR PROTECT YOU FROM COVID-19. FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH BY THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION.***
7. **No Paid Services.**
1. Networking is allowed. Post it in the relevant [Megathread](https://www.reddit.com/r/witchcraft/comments/loanlc/megathread_networking_discord_youtube_etsy_etc/).
2. Do not post or ask for ***paid services*** such as tarot readings, and especially not spells.
8. **Do not post any Personally Identifiable Information (PII)**
1. Don’t post anything that can potentially identify you.
1. Age, name, location.
2. Country is acceptable. If you’re in the US then the state is acceptable, and province if you’re in Canada, etc.
3. Do not ask for meetups. Not only does this break the first clause, it also puts you and others at risk of spreading COVID-19. Think of yourself and the community.
4. Image Days: Selfies or anything to identify you or your locale are not permitted.

If a post or comment has been removed then it has been removed. A moderator may or may not leave a comment, or a modmail, regarding the removal reason.

Hi have a question to rule number 5 why only physically ? From my understanding one can hurt someone else also on the emotional and mental level. Which often have effects on the physical.
