AriannaParticipantI find it weird that everything I see online about Pisces says they’re soft, dreamy, and sensitive when it simply isn’t true. Most of the Pisces I know are gregarious and funny with a bit of an edge, but very often with depression that they conceal from the public. I don’t understand where the stereotype came from. What do you think?

GuestFebruary 1, 2021 at 4:51 amPisces sun and moon here, friends. I’m soft, dreamy, sensitive and a crybaby. My boss and my manager are both sun pisces and are pragmatic, go-getters, good businessmen. I’m as confused as you are.

GuestFebruary 1, 2021 at 4:51 amOne solid place to look would be the rulership schemes. Jupiter describes Pisces much more accurately than Neptune, yet modern astrology still insists on Neptune’s rulership. Pisces has almost been pathologized by its association with Neptune all these years.

GuestFebruary 1, 2021 at 4:51 amas a pisces sun and moon (leo rising), i never thought i was like the stereotypical pisces. i like to be outgoing and fun, i like to have an edgy side. but even so, i do have a lot going on in my head. i daydream and i consider myself an escapist.
another stereotype that i don’t personally relate to, is pisces in relationships. i don’t like to be tied down, and i don’t like clingy ness. i need to have space/ my own life and i feel the other person should have their own life as well. maybe that’s why i vibe with sagittarius????????

GuestFebruary 1, 2021 at 4:51 amPisces rising here,
I AM painfully sensitive, but as I’ve matured, I have learned to harness that sensitivity to my advantage. Yes, I feel pain deeply, but that pain has also considerably sharpened my empathy. This helps me to figure out people’s intentions and character. Figuring out people is a skill that comes in handy in all areas of life. So there’s that. Starting to sound like a Scorpio here…. (Am not)
Also, yes I can be humorous, but in a very odd way.
Pisces can definitely get very dark and become very comfortable there. Angler fish come to mind…
Edit: I also almost always attract and get along swimmingly (haw haw) with Aquarius.

GuestFebruary 1, 2021 at 4:51 amI come off immediately as a little loopy, but straightforward, do-it-myself, funny & direct (cap asc conj neptune) & friendly/flirty/ditzy (libra sun)… I’m not super open with my vulnerabilities but I have huge empathy (esp for society’s most vulnerable) & when I open up I am very very sensitive (pisces moon).

GuestFebruary 1, 2021 at 4:51 amPeople considered our quietness as soft because we’re soft spoken but we’re also hard hitting as well. Most signs/people think being loud is masculine but it’s really not it’s annoying and feminine. Having a peace of mind is masculine because you’re intuned with your self on a mental level.
The dreamy part comes from when we day dream which leads to them thinking our head is always in the clouds when in reality it’s how we forsee what’s coming before others even know or have any idea.
People always forget that we might be fishes but the energy you give us is the fish that you will get. If you come with laidback vibes then we’re the laidback whale, if you’re the athletic type then we’re the dolphin but if you piss us off it’s either a sea of piranhas or the great white shark.
