I’ve noticed that a lot of water Mercury placements – specially cancer and Pisces mercuries are very slow at texting. Does anyone experience this who has a partner / friend with these placements or has one of these placements themselves?
What other placements have you noticed just NEVER get back to you in a timely manner? I’m very curious

I have a friend who as a Capricorn Stellium in the first house (including mercury) and he will answer texts right away unless it’s a social event that he doesn’t want to go to, in which case he’ll pretend it doesn’t exist and ghost you

I have an aries mercury, and i very rarely text people back. I rarely keep in touch with people in general, but I’m extra bad with texting.

Ooh here’s few of the people I know irl
1. Pisces Sun Aquarius moon – replies after a day lol! Very spaced out and dreamy.
2. Aqua Sun Aries Moon – Replies after days or even weeks. Though you might want to factor in his very busy life along with battle with depression.
3.Virgo Sun Pisces Moon- This person just disappears for days. And will pop up when she likes. Very comical and open minded.
That’s my list!

I have a Scorpio Mercury and it depends. If I’m used to texting someone (which is very few of my friends, I usually prefer face-to-face communication, but some people I find easier to text, especially if we express ourselves in a similar manner and I feel properly understood) I’ll usually reply as soon as I see it. Most people though… yeah, it’ll take a while. I’ll get shy, overthink it, go do something else and sometimes end up forgetting about it. Unless it’s to make plans for meeting up.

I have Mercury in Libra conjunct Saturn and Pluto and I often take a while to respond. It is often because I’m thinking things through before I respond and want to find the “perfect” way to put my thoughts into words.
Or sometimes I actually have a problem with the other person and am deciding how I’m going to play my cards.

Mercury rx 12H in Sag, Sag rising (and moon) too and I can take weeks/ months to get back to people…or will quite often ignore them without realising, even friends!

I’m a cancer with mercury in cancer and I love texting! If I take time to respond is because I’m very very very busy and/or the person is not important enough. As I’m 28 and life as an adult can be overwhelming, I don’t mind people taking days to respond me. But yeah, if someone is important to me and I’m having a busy day, I’ll usually find time to respond before going to bed.
Btw, my husband is a cancer with leo mercury and when we were dating he used to reply very fast — being online at the same time and chatting in real time was very common.

I’m a cancer Mercury, i think it could be because we’re more introverted. For me personally, it’s all based on my mood. Cancers and Pisces in general are prone to moodiness, and if you text us in a time where we don’t want to be social ( a lot of the time) we’ll try to remind ourselves to text you back later, but we end up forgetting.

Mercury in Scorpio 8th house here! Placements cannot define the person’s response time to text back due to the infinite possibilities of placements in the chart, then we have to consider numerology and another assortment of things including life circumstances

I have my mercury in cancer and i do have tendencies to be really slow with my response. I prefer to do talking in person lol when im by myself, i want to do things on my own and i end up usually forgetting or procrastinating on responding to ppls needs via text

My mercury sign is in Pisces and I would say I’m a notoriously bad texter, to the point where I was broken up with over it lol
