My two cents… they pass this and let it sit in the senate till after November. RvW hurt them more than thought it would. They are trying not to alienate more voters. After midterms is their goal. I don’t trust any of them any more.

47 Republicans out of….what, a couple of hundred? Baby steps, I suppose. Better than every single Republican voting against just to “own the liberals” like we usually get.

Was so happy for this news! Such a shame they didn’t do it for Roe v Wade but I hope with new leadership something could be done about that. We need to get these grandparents out of office.

It has to pass the senate now. I was watching Republicans say they don’t support anything listed in the bill and won’t vote for it last night. Interracial marriage, interreligious marriage, and same sex marriage will be up to the states if it doesn’t pass.
