Trying to attract love

I’ve been trying to figure out ways to attract love. I work with crystals and manifestation but I don’t know about anything else so I’m looking for new things to help me out.

I am not trying to manifest a specific person, since I believe that using magic on a specific person is un ethical (but that’s just my belief). I want to attract a new partner, self-love, and/or love in general.

Instead of trying to ‘fish’ people in, become a beacon. Do spells that help make you the best person you can be, spells that help with confidence and increase your empathy and compassion. Be true to yourself & importantly become only yourself, be unique. Follow each spell and meditation with an action and achievable goal (baby steps mind!). Roses/petals, rose quartz, honey, sugar, and pink Himalayan salt are typical ingredients in love spell jars it honestly depends on what kind of love spell you’re looking for, pink, or red candle (pink for romance, red for more assertive relationship or sexual), carving their name into the wax of the candle before lighting it then saying something like

If you are trying too hard, that might be the reason why it’s not happening yet. You might be sending “frustrated” or “desperate” energy in the universe, and those will just attract more frustration. You know the effect, the more you pray for something the longer it takes for it to happen.

I would suggest you do a petition, you write down how you would like your partner to be, and how would you like your relationship to be.

Then mote it (burn it, throw it in ocean/river, put it in the ground near to flowers, or just put it in a book in your house) and then forget abuit, love will come but don’t stress it.

If you stress it either nothing will come to you, or even worst someone who seems to be the right one but is all sorts of wrong.

Just make a vision board so that you’re actually being specific to the universe about what you want for love because that can mean a million things.

For example a general love spell may result in bringing you new things you will love or a new living thing to love like a cat or something. Or the Universe may put you in uncomfortable situations to help you to grow in your self love and technically all those different things may be better for you than a partner anyway at this time.

If you want to attract a loving partner, make a vision board of what you want in a person and put it somewhere where you can see it and be reminded. And then be patient and work on you as the universe cooks up your specific request. Focus on bringing love in all different ways for you in the meantime.

Just keep an open mind that abrahamic tyrany is not the fault of angels or hebrew, which in modern magick is basically used as magic words and symbols/sigils.

Not to sound like a inspiration poster but, the best way to get love is to be love. Compliment someone’s sweater, hold the door, ask how the cashiers day is going and actually listen. Yes, our spells SO help. Rose quartz, honey in your tea/coffee, but BEING a creature of love makes you a safe and welcoming person TO love. Welcome all forms of it, friends, family, lovers both temporary and long term, hell even pets. I think this is similar to the other comments of “be a beacon” but yeah.

Self-Love is mostly about self-acceptance, while still leaving room for personal development. It is about accepting how things are and what needs to be done to get to where you want to be.

Love in general is usually unconditional, but few people are actually able to do this. Don’t expect anything in return.

As for a partner – I like to work with manifestation of will. Ask yourself what you are looking for. Just someone to hold you – or if there are other requirements as well. Visualise it – from there on you can use your craft to seed this manifest into reality.

I don’t believe love is transactional in any way. That is I personally don’t believe you can manifest it from nothing or create a spell that will attract it.

In my experience the only thing that attracts love is love itself. Therefore by engaging in conscious, selfless acts of love for *yourself* and for others – for example demonstrating compassion, mercy, etc – you in turn open yourself and spirit up to receive love as well. I believe your intent has to be pure (not that I doubt yours is).

If you are trying to work with Aphrodite – I’d suggest writing the 7 words for love in Greek on a piece of paper – then contemplate how you can do one act for each of the 7. Then dedicate these acts as 7 offerings for Aphrodite.

I use hibiscus in any sex related spells!!! I associate this because when my period is late, I can drink hibiscus tea and it will get things moving down there (it can also induce early labor!). so I associate it with sex, sexual health, love, and lust

First, know that you deserve love. Some have been convinced otherwise and need some shadow work for healing and recovery.

Second, make sure you are ready for this companionship. Sometimes, people don’t realize how comfortable they’ve gotten being alone. Search your inner life to see what’s negotiable and what’s not when a partner/companion comes into your life.

Then, set the intention. Let the Universe and your guides know that you are ready and open for love. ❤️❤️❤️

Lastly, there is some work you have to do in the mundane. Be open to going out to events, maybe something you like but have gotten comfortable staying at home. Be willing to go out where people can see you and find you.
