Oh gawd that reminds me 😭 One time my sister and I went to a club while she was at University. The club had levels and we were at the top. At the time dancing kind of scared me so I just drank a bit at the bar and danced some.
She informed me she was going to the bathroom before moving to a lower floor. So, me, not thinking about it, stood outside the hallway entrance to the women’s bathroom waiting for her to come out. A bouncer came up to me and told me I wasn’t allowed to just wait outside of the bathroom.
In my drunk and naive head I thought he meant, “you’re clogging the hallways outside of the bathroom.” So I moved FURTHER into the hallway to wait for my sister. The bouncer then pulled me out and informed me I was being kicked out. 🤣 I tried to explain that I was waiting for my sister, but to no avail. He said, “Well fine we’ll wait here then and see if she comes out.”
Of course she did, and my sister can be a bit fire-y and was none too thrilled. So here I am, being quietly complient as the bouncer leads me downstairs and out, while my sister is verbally attacking the bouncer like some kind of honeybadger. 🤣
I remember standing outside of the building while watching through the window as my little sister, surrounded by 3-4 bouncers (she knew them too), just pointed at them and yelled. 🤣
I did not get back into the club.

I’ve been in this situation before but I was the “man” (MtF look masculine) where I was just talking to one of my friends and someone interpreted it the wrong way which sucks but I would prefer for someone to try to protect someone else even if they don’t need it as long as it’s not invasive

I don’t understand the logic of “oh she’s working out clearly she wants my advances”. It’s straight up gross and embarrassing.

Also feel like this is a great time to bring up the time a guy asked for my number, I gave him a fake one, he GRABBED MY ARM with his friends all around and called it. Then he yelled at me for giving him a fake number. Remember, kids, it’s not safe for women to say no to men, so we do shit like this, don’t get mad about it, just get over it.
