GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amIโm an Aries and husband is a Taurus. Works very well for us because his relaxed ways calm me and I can help him see when things need a little urgency. We are a great pair, even though weโre pretty different.

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amAww, a little sad to see so much hate for water signs in this thread! When weโre messy we are real messy and it sure makes an impression!
Personally I think sun sign compatibility is pretty bunk, because itโs too reductive and just not holistic enough to capture the nuances of connection between people. Iโm a Scorpio (Libra rising, Pisces moon) and my partner is a Sagittarius (Pisces rising, Sagittarius moon) and itโs by far the strongest, most authentic, and deepest partnership Iโve ever had. I mostly dated other water signs or earth signs in the past and much preferred the latter, because looking back other water signs drove me bananas with over-processing and using therapy language to mask anxious attachment, which I found really suffocating. Just my personal experience though. With my man I finally feel matched and like I actually understand why people say Scorps are the honorary fire signs of the water signs. We donโt dampen each other at all; totally the opposite. It was love at first sight and we just fucking vibe with each other hard!
I try not to write off any signs or elements because I prefer to think of astrology as a means to connect, even if that means being down with the fact that some people are not for me. Maybe itโs my diplomatic Libra rising, but I love different things about all the signs, and Iโve always gotten on extremely well with Sags and Leos especially.

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amI know it’s different from most people’s interpretations, but to me, water and fire are complementary, and air and earth are complementary.
As in, water and fire have a yin-yang relationship, that equal-but-opposite energy, where they just “get” each other, because at their core they’re similar, and the differences are all surface. Water and earth can be okay sometimes despite their differences, but water and air *do not mix* because they’re just so fundamentally opposite. Fire and air can get along, but kind of “ignite” each other, but fire and earth don’t mix at all because their differences just run too deep to understand each other. But air and earth get along with each other the same way fire and water do. And signs of the same element will always understand each other than signs of different elements.
I guess it goes on the simple divide of water and fire are both emotional, earth and air are both practical. Earth is laid back enough to get along with water, air is exciting enough to get along with fire. But fire is too wild for earth, earth is too grounded for fire, water is too sensitive for air, air is too distant for water.
Obviously that’s not all there is to it, but that’s just my experience with the elements.

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amAir dating water (Pisces boyfriend). We fight a lot and he definitely has embraced the manipulative side of Pisces at times but the love we have for eachother is unconditional

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amAs an aries sun, aries rising and leo moon, I always dated water signs, and my so is cancer sun, scorpio rising and scorpio moon and we are just perfect for eachother.
Signs alone don’t determine compatibility, I believe a person willingness to improve upon their shortcomings and the other’s ability to really value the positive are what makes for great compatibility.

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amAs a Gemini, I tend to disagree fundamentally with earth signs, and water signs tend to make me feel oppressed. I can get along with them most of the time, but they usually donโt end up becoming my friends; at least not past a superficial level. Iโve dated a Pisces and a Taurus in the past and wellโฆ Long story short, they didnโt work out. Howeverโฆ My worst ever relationship was with a fellow air sign; Libra. So far, Iโve had the best luck with fire signs. My best friend of 14 years is a Leo, and my wonderful boyfriend (and longest lasting relationship) is a Sagittarius. Although my other bestie is an Aquarius.
But if I had to single out one zodiac that Iโve never been able to get along with on any levelโฆ
Scorpios. Every single Scorpio Iโve met has been absolutely insufferable. Bear in mind that my own mother is also a Scorpio. Itโs impossible to relate to them on any level, and no matter how hard you try, itโs like trying to reason with a brick wall. Obviously I havenโt met every Scorpio in the world, and Iโm sure there are variationsโฆ But my personal experience with that particular sign has been enough to make me cringe when someone tells me theyโre a Scorpio.
Edit: Thought Iโd add my big three. โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ๐โ๏ธ๐

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amBruh I’m a Cancer and I’m more like earth and air signs. Probably because my moon is in Taurus and my rising is Virgo and my Mercury is in Gemini. Also, I’m most compatible with air and fire signs. I can date a Taurus or Virgo but not Capricorns. My favorite signs to date are Libra, Aries, Gemini, and Sagittarius. Can’t date March Pisces and can only be friends with June Cancers. The rest of the signs I didn’t mention are pretty pass/fail. It depends on the person and their other signs in their chart.

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amAll the signs and elements have their positives/negatives of course but I just can’t even with water signs. It’s going to end badly in one way or another so I just avoid now. Fire evaporates water, water dampens fire. Just nope.
Fire signs are dope, air signs are generally my most fun, and while earth signs can be frustratingly fixed it just needs a little compromise and understanding from both sides- which earth can be good for. -

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amAll I can say from personal experience that I have always been attracted to water signs even though 55% of my chart is air. I always looked at it like well water has one oxygen atom so they are part air in a way. I dated a libra for about 3 years and if her moon wasnt in pisces we probably wouldn’t have gotten along so well. Every other relationship I’ve ever been in has been with an water sign. At the end of the day I have always been attracted to pisces the most. Ive always felt they were consistent with emotional intelligence.

GuestMarch 9, 2022 at 4:28 amSee I’m really confused. I feel like the air describes me best, in fact, none of the other descriptions even come close, but I’m not either of those signs.
