What does Aries energy mean to you ?

Aries ASC and moon here. I feel most Aries-like when I’m about to ride passenger in someone’s car, try to open the door, and they haven’t unlocked it yet. Just a bit too hasty.

I’ve only met one bad aries, all the others have been fun and easy to vibe with and i feel like i get along with them a lot. (I’m a capricorn btw)

Confidence. So much confidence. It’s addicting to be around. Compassion, when they care about you and you treat them right. Along with compassion comes extreme loyalty. Again, when they care about you and you treat them right. But also a child like youth. Their humor, the way they see problems as very black and white, the way they can trust blindly.

Aries are one of the most attractive people just because of their character alone! If I’m with a group of people the one with the strongest presence is always an Aries! I‘m an Aquarius and my closest almost family like friends are always Aries! They defend you and stand up for you if you can’t and they are themselves no matter if people like it or not! A lot of people can’t handle them! The negative sides in some of them is that they get angry very easily it’s like walking on eggshells around them sometimes! I knew a lot of Aries boys that were bullies when in school! Aggressive, loud and dominating! But some of the most extroverted and charming people are Aries as well! I love Aries and always respect and admire them for their strength and weaknesses because at the end of the day they are honest with me no matter what! I know who I deal with when with an Aries!!

Aries are fighters, pioneers. They can do anything to survive. They are full of fire and can climb any mountain. They do things which have not been done before. They are fast and fit. They can get into unnecessary arguments, fights. They don’t know surrender. They have very good focus. Aries is very sudden in nature.

aries is cardinal fire. it’s the spark that lights the flame, the fire starter. it’s an explosive force that gets things into action. it’s the ignition of things, starting a blaze and watching it spread and roar, engulfing the coal briquettes or whatever kindling is available. this is starting things to be passionate about, whether it’s an argument or a hobby.
mars rules aries. mars is the planet of separation, stratification, breaking things down and bringing out its individual elements. aries is mars when he goes in guns blazing. it’s a gladiator with a sword and a shield entering the arena to take in the next challenge. it’s mars when he knows he takes things on and fights for it. this might sound overly aggressive and it can be, but it’s actually a positive. this can be channeled into fighting for what’s right, or what makes you happiest.
the sun is exalted in aries. the sun is pride and honor. going back to the gladiator, the reason the sun likes it here is because it can show off to the cheering crowds. it’s not quite fundamentally how the sun acts, but the sun does like to be center stage at times, and aries let’s it push its rays outward. physically i like to think of it as when it’s hot and you feel it almost hit you like a wall. the sun glaring and beating down on you.
venus is in detriment in aries. venus is uncomfortable here because she’s the opposite of mars: harmonizing, unifying, blending. being ariean means throwing your heart into the ring and fighting to come out on top with every new challenge. venus would rather gingerly hold out her heart, if she puts it out there at all. aries is opposite her sign of libra, where she gets to play the part of demure aristocrat. here shes acting with sudden bursts of passion, something she’s not really well suited for.
saturn is in fall in aries. saturn prefers rules and structure, using those to impose his ideas on people and push for things he wants. the libra-aries dichotomy can be understood like this: aries is wanting to look like a badass by breaking the rules, libra is wanting to look like a badass by following the rules. saturn likes the latter. imagine if instead of a gladiator walking into the ring you had a PTA member or lawyer. like i’m sure they could get into it but it’s not their wheelhouse. that’s saturn in aries. crotchety old man breaking the rules even though he likes the rules.
i think it’s important to note that just like libra isn’t about putting other people first, aries isn’t about putting yourself first. it’s not inherently selfish energy, not anymore than any other sign at least. the suns exaltation makes it seem that way but the sun isn’t solely about the self, it’s about casting rays on everything and letting people lift you up. aries needs other people to shine for, to fuel it.

Action and action! Even long conversations are active or seem focus or goal driven. Having a long chat about feelings and trauma with a close Aries rising is near impossible. He even admits that although he talks a lot he doesn’t actually know how to talk that way.
I had an Aries friend come round when we were just having a relaxing evening talking and he kept saying “let’s DO something” and “what shall we DO?” We are doing something. We’re sitting around talking.

As an Aries Ascendant, this is true. But if I get bad intuition being a Cancer Sun and Gemini Moon, let’s just say that inside I am extremely irritated by their presence.

I have Aries in both – Sun and Venus. I’m bold, spontaneous, loyal, persistent, independent, easy-going introvert, passionate. However, I’m also jealous, sometime action comes first before thinking. And don’t forget sooo many unfinished projects. I easily get bored. 🙂
