GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amlol there’s actually so many cancer moons in this thread, take it we’re the saddest moon sign? Mine is in the 2nd house and most of the time when I’m sad I go and compulsively shop so I’d say there is a relation ahahaha

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amCancer moon 12th house. I’ve had some pretty awful depression and substance abuse issues over the years. I’m learning to feel ALL the feels and meditation. Shadow work is a must.

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amLeo in 12H. I don’t tell anyone how I feel. Sometimes *I’m* not sure how I feel, and when I do acknowledge how I feel, I think I’m overreacting.
In my worst days I drank in secret a lot.

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amAries moon, I think I use anger to cover up the fact that I’m sad. I usually don’t cry much, but when I’m sad I just lash out verbally. Not a great thing because u can imagine a lot of regrettable things get said unfortunately. 😭

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amVirgo moon here –
I like to laze around and do nothing. I spend time on reddit reaching out to others who are sad and trying to help them feel better. It helps to know I’m not alone in my sadness. I also like to vent to my boyfriend. Sometimes I lay my head on his chest and he holds me.

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amMine is hanging out in my third house with the rest of my big Scorpio stellium. Unfortunately I am really prone to bouts of sadness, I struggle with depression and I’m also generally just a sensitive person, it’s pretty easy to get the waterworks flowing.
I deal with sadness usually one of two ways. If it’s during the day, I’ll go for a little drive down nice parts of town, or a longer drive a little further away. I have a “depression driving” playlist where I have some songs that are good for crying and some other ones I like to sing along to. Sometimes it just feels good to cry it out on the side of the road and then belt out your favorite songs on the way home.
If it’s too late for a drive or if the weather is shitty, I’ll usually put on some sad songs, take a hot shower, and go chill in my bedroom for a while. I usually switch to less sad stuff once I’m out of the shower to kind of build myself back up, but if I’m still feeling down I might keep the sad stuff going. I’ll sometimes journal if I’m feeling especially down or if I can’t figure out what’s making me feel upset. The physical act of writing kind of feels like a release, and I usually feel a lot better after.

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 am6th house. I let myself feel the sadness, cry if i must, otherwise i know it will manifest as pain in my body. I also exercise, walking specially. It makes me feel better (endorphins ❤️) and i can have a broader perspective after i go for a walk and maybe have a nice, healthy meal afterwards. Self-care is a must after I’ve faced my sadness. (Not the “treat yo’self” bathbomb-crazed type, more like the “gotta do it, don’t feel like it, but it will be good for me” type of self-care).

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 ampisces moon in the 9th house as my chart ruler 🙂 usually when i’m sad i feel the need to retreat, to spend time alone. It obviously depends on the reason why i’m sad, but i tend to make a big deal out of it even if it’s something small, and i weirdly find some kind of comfort in pain. I often get really hopeless and find comfort in distracting myself and not facing my feelings. I don’t usually talk about my struggles with other people. I am also really prone to depression and anxiety. I don’t know how this relates to my 9th house, but I certainly find comfort in traveling too, and “getting away” from what is concerning me.

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amGemini sun with Capricorn moon. I act like nothing’s wrong and do self-destructive things. So I look like I’m having fun but actually I’m trying to mess myself up.

I usually push it away and judge myself for bad feelings. I’m actually feeling really sad for no reason all day today and have been so frustrated by it. I have no idea why but it’s just one of those days I guess. I try to give myself pep talks and self love, but only after I’m done judging every thought and feeling. I almost never share when I’m feeling down, and might tell one friend days later.

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amMoon in Scorpio, 8th house. You will never EVER see me cry unless it’s my immediate family or significant other. If I feel really sad, like depression sad, I isolate and just watch a comfort show. If I’m upset and need to let it out in front of my closest family/friends/SO, it’s monsoon season

GuestNovember 3, 2021 at 3:54 amCancer moon in 8th. I tend to
* wallow and think the worst for no reason
* listen to deep music to further latch on to my sadness (witch house, instrumentals from film soundtracks)
* pull tarot cards in the hopes they’ll talk me down from my metaphorical ledge
