How does this manifest in a person? And is there anything unique about those placements? I’m thinking for example: sun Scorpio, moon Taurus, etc.

I’m a cancer sun, capricorn moon and like others have said it’s a very conflicting feeling. My emotions are like a raging river blocked from flowing freely by a dam. I feel things too deeply, yet somehow suppress them by my own volition lol

Just want to point out that this means you were born on or very near a Full Moon 🙂

Happens all the time. I’m a Leo Sun, Aquarius Moon, born on that full moon, with the moon at midheaven, Sun conjunct Pluto in the 4th. Two fixed signs at opposite sides of the chart. I feel it as a constant reality check, I’d say.

As an outside observer, I find Full Moon babies to have spectacular charisma. They turn heads no matter how they look. They have a lot of influence in the social groups they’re part of. The smart ones come off as geniuses. (Well . . . depending on the audience they don’t even have to be that smart, *cough*Trump*cough*)

I’m an 3H Aries sun, 9H Libra moon & I reasonate so much with both! I am active, happy and quick like an Aries and social, harmonious and flirtuous like a Libra. I hate conflict, but I’m not afraid to stand up for myself or others when I need to. I love to learn about all kinds of stuff. I like to do things quick and I tend to rush, but I also like to take my time to make things nice and beautiful. I love my combo 🙂

Learning about my opposing sun and moon is what got me to “buy into” astrology way back in the way back. I’ve ALWAYS felt like my sun sign (Taurus) but when I found out about my moon being in Scorpio it was like everything made sense.

In my life it has manifested as intense internal conflict before my Saturn return, as always feeling like I wanted two separate things at once, had a hard time being able to name my feelings, and I generally felt like no matter how clearly I explained myself people just didn’t “get” my feelings and they definitely didn’t take them seriously.

Some of that may be related to my Scorpio moon by itself rather than the opposition?

Oh and my sun is 11th house, moon is 5th house.

    Polar opposite parents.

How you were nurtured or your inner child must not be quite in line to what you identify with.

Aries sun Libra moon is pretty ideal tbqh I can bounce around to accomplish many things and also provide my own balance so when I am overly emotional I can return to grounding.

I’m a Capricorn sun 1st house with a Cancer moon 7th house. It’s a constant internal battle for sure.

I have worked with a client who has a first house sun opposite a seventh house moon.

In this client, it manifests as a terrible pulling in two directions. On the one hand, his 7th House moon gives him a driving, emotional need for partnership and membership in groups where he feels valued and wanted. But that 1st House sun makes him very self-focused. This interferes with those relationships and group memberships he so needs.

In short, he needs to belong, but lacks the selflessness required to really let himself sink into the relationships he needs for emotional fulfillment. He seeks out groups but cannot fully commit himself to them, always feeling like he’s on the fringe. He wants to love and be loved, but cannot find his way to the selfless, “think of the other first” way of loving that is so needed for a good relationship.

My hub is a Scorpio sun and rising and Taurus moon. The polarity is REAL for him. There is a push and pull between the outward part of him that expresses intensely, deeply, and extremely and is okay with being a little bit out there and contrarian and the inward part of him that desires comfort, stability, home base, lavishness, luxuriousness etc. I’d have it no other way because he’s very interesting to be with!

I’m a libra sun, aries moon, and I really appreciate the firey aries energy honestly. makes me more decisive and straightforward, though I definitely prefer to be the typical diplomatic type who won’t ruffle feathers. my scorpio rising backs up that mars energy I think but without working for it I get the shit end of all three signs: easily upset, refuse to say anything for the sake of keeping the peace, and become resentful about my needs not being met. I think having opposite sun/moon signs definitely requires a person to find a balance point between the two or end up flipping between extremes of either sign.
