AriannaParticipantHow does this manifest in a person? And is there anything unique about those placements? I’m thinking for example: sun Scorpio, moon Taurus, etc.

What if someone’s sun and moon are polar opposites?

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 ami’m gemini sun in 11th house/sag moon in 5th house (gemini venus in 12 house) and i’ve always thought this is the most iconic sun and moon duo (and sun moon and venus trio)🤣🤣🤣 i feel my sun and moon compliment each other so well! i’m social, adventurous a whole lot of fun, and a certified slut 🤪🤣.

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 amI have this. I’m both super rational and super emotional. However, I don’t think I ‘suffer’ from an internal conflict. What can be said is that there is a discernable tension. It will differ from opposition to opposition, depending on what signs are involved. Nevertheless, there is always a common ground: polarity and modality.

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 amI’m a libra sun, aries moon, and I really appreciate the firey aries energy honestly. makes me more decisive and straightforward, though I definitely prefer to be the typical diplomatic type who won’t ruffle feathers. my scorpio rising backs up that mars energy I think but without working for it I get the shit end of all three signs: easily upset, refuse to say anything for the sake of keeping the peace, and become resentful about my needs not being met. I think having opposite sun/moon signs definitely requires a person to find a balance point between the two or end up flipping between extremes of either sign.

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 amOh yes. Aquarius Sun Leo Moon.
Sometimes I want to be the center of attention then other times I want to hide. Sometimes I want to be liked by all to fit in then other times I want to be so unique and different. Sometimes I am so emotional yet sometimes I am so detached and could care less.
It becomes confusing…

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 amDonald Trump was born during a full moon, with Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius. This is a sign of inner conflict, as the mother and father were in conflict at his birth. The theme of conflict carries itself out throughout life. Here is the chart:

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 amSag sun/rising, Cancer moon here
I feel like I mostly operate in my world in a cheerful, confident (fiery) way, guided by my sun/rising. But when I’m in more intimate settings or under great stress, I become very emotional and watery (literally crying a lot, too lol).
The push/pull of these opposing elements/placements sometimes makes me feel like I have two distinct sides. Being drawn more to align with my Sagittarius with my sun/rising pair, I think I demonized my more sensitive inner world and went hard into sag energy. More recently, I’ve been more accepting of that duality and understanding better how to harness the powers of each (and not just see my moon as a weakness).

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 amLibra Sun – Aires Rising often times I find that I remain more balanced than others and I attribute it to this in part.

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 amThat’s me! I have a theory that those with this placement may have had a childhood that demanded things different from what was needed to thrive. I have a cap sun and cancer moon, responsibility and rigidity was demanded in my childhood and I needed emotional security. It can be a challenging placement since any opposition or square is, but once you evolve with it I personally think it can manifest really beautifully with being able to see both sides of a situation and a maturity that comes with connecting sister signs.

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 amLook at folklore about how people act during a full moon and you’ll see what’s said in the astrology community about people born during a full moon. The term “lunatic” was invented to describe people who seemed to drastically change personality based on the full moon.

GuestNovember 14, 2021 at 10:16 ami’m an aries sun libra moon and it’s quite wild! i’m also a libra rising so all my houses are in their opposite sign, and i have a ton of internal conflict lol. it’s very contradictory energy to have my most personal planet in a sign that’s very focused on others and my sun aka ego in my 7th house of partnerships, and funnily enough i’m not a relationship type (aries venus). however i rather like having my sun and moon in opposite signs cos i feel like it’s made me more well rounded, i have the aries bold/brashness and the libra diplomacy, the aries self possession and the libra mirroring. it’s been a process to learn how to mesh the two very opposing sides of my personality but honestly i love that i was born under a full moon. i feel so special 🙂
