Why did 2015/2016 have such different energy?

I remember 2016 as being pretty chaotic. Trump was elected and a lot of things started to change socially and politically. The divisive “us vs. them” mentality became very strong.

Personally, in 2016 I was also in an abusive relationship, so not so happy. I don’t think there was anything special about those years, a lot of younger people just remember 2015/2016 as the last calm years before the global chaos really began, and that’s why they revere it.

2015 was the worst year of my life… my most abusive relationship, the worst of the abuse from my mother, and the assault that affected me the most occurred in 2015. 2019-present is happier times for me. Not sure if I’m an outlier or if there are others similar. 🙂

No real bad aspects or planetary alignments were happening, aside from pluto square uranus and Saturn square Neptune it was pretty good. I remember 2015 being one of the most chilled years of my life, like it was a break from the craziness of years past.

Idk how a lot of people say 2016 was their best year of their life. It was one of the worst for me. My only comfort was music and knowing I graduated high school and wouldn’t see my classmates again (what a joy). Besides that, I don’t know what may have triggered external events that would affect me for the worse that year.

2015 though… That year was good. But my best year was 2014, alongside 2019.

2015 was one of the best years of my life. It was the beginning of the end of who I was as well.

2016 brought so much turmoil that continued to it’s height in 2019.

2020 was a year of learning hard lessons, a lot of uncovering truths and tremendous growth personally.

2021 has only served to further that growth and change. I’m in the best place of my life when it comes to my career and personal growth but struggling like a bitch romantically. I suppose that’ll even out once I get the other 2 right… hopefully.

I completely agree with this. 2016 in particular, there was something different in the air. It was one of my most successful years in all aspects of career and relationships. Damn.. all summa sixteen *drake voice*
