My (49) wife (37) is considering sterilization. Just went to a new DR (nurse practitioner) to discuss IUD removal and other options. I was so very happy she was not even asked about my opinion. She was not asked how many children she already has (0), not asked to take a mental health test, nothing not medically necessary. Maybe some things are getting better? Anyway, hope y’all have a good day too.

My fiancé is considering having her tubes tied and I’ve already told her that if a doctor tries asking me my opinion on it I’m either gonna ask them “what the fuck are you asking me for? The person you should be asking is over there” or I’ll say “let me think about it. Hey babe, what do you want to do? Yeah well go with that.”
