I feel like i’m edging to a burn out and shutting down to all emotions. So, my dearest siblings i request that you leave a comment with your latest happy news, hobby, special interest, what you did for Samhain, what are your plans to relax? did you get a curly fry in your regular fries? did your pet make a funny face ? did you have a breakthrough with your craft? I want to hear all about it big or small.
Go to as much or as little detail as you want but keep it happy. I think we all need a smile on our faces and to decompress a little considering the state of the world.

My students have gotten to the point where they respect me and themselves more. I look forward to seeing them every day. We’re all able to joke around and get stuff done too. Teaching is a stressful job, but a great one.

I went to my parents and helped my mom hand out candy. She had a stroke a few years ago and struggles with some physical tasks. But she loves seeing the kids in their costumes, so I go and help so she can do that.

I was going through old pictures/videos lately and I found a video of my dog that I thought I had lost.
Basically, I had thrown his toy a bit too far and it got caught in a small tree. He was jumping, trying to reach it. I walked towards the tree to try to help him, but he just decided to bend the tree, managed to grab his toy and ran from me. I was laughing in the video cause it was a smart move! I’m really glad I found that video -
I’m in Hawai’i right now. Doing my favorite thing later on this morning, snorkeling with the tropical fishes.
Saltwater heals me – skin and soul – and I’ve had a rough year so this is good stuff.

I have a cold. BUT I called in sick as I swore myself I’d do the next time I have a cold. So I’m very proud of myself.

I relearned crochet recently and I’ve been working on a ton of projects and I’m almost done with a sock right now! I’m very excited to wear it this winter. Also, yesterday I had an interview for a new job that I’m super interested in and I had my first therapy appt with a new person! I’ve had my share of negative things recently (hence therapy and trying to get new job) but things are starting to work out. I’m sending love and strength to you and I hope that things start to work out in your life soon too! ❤️

This is lovely, I also needed something like this.
Here we go, today the flowers at my room looks like purple and pink butterflies, and the sun has bring a lot of birds singing and chirping in the backyard. A simple moment in nature to be grateful.

I wore my witchiest outfit and the purple lipstick I always wanted to! I felt all powerful. Rural texas wasnt ready for me but I was so fabulous that I could have cared less…. one lady kept giving me side eye like I was off to corrupt her husband and sacrifice her goats but that’s her problem

Halloween is traditionally my favorite holiday but this year made it a nogo. I smoked a J in my bathtub and gave thanks to my body for being so awesome. Next year, we make new traditions.

I made a painting yesterday that I’m very pleased with. It feels like it’s been a while since I was this satisfied with my work, so this is extra nice news. I’ll DM a picture to you : )

I also am on this edge. I did get a new fountain pen in the mail the other day and i put a pretty ink in it and it’s making even just budgeting better (twsbi eco and ferris wheel press edward’s garden ink)
I’m all for the cheap thrills lately.

Last night during trick or treating I came upon a little boy dressed as a hotdog with a witches hat – He said he was “The Wicked Weiner”. It cracked me up! 😂

I just got a library card yesterday! I’m so excited to get back into reading and I’m starting a new job finally outside of retail!
