I’ve heard many people say that lunar eclipse energy is chaotic and you should not cast during the eclipse. I don’t understand why the lunar eclipse energy is considered a chaotic energy. Where does this belief come from? Why do so many people consider this a time where spells should not be cast?

From personal experince. Eclipse spells are intense, you can work with it. But it’s extremely intense. You just have to be prepared for any changes coming from it, because it will come.

If anything “chaotic energy” would make the spells stronger if you can harness it …. Like meditate beforehand which is supposed to be done anyway…. I will probably do some Qigong/meditation and do a releasing spell and ritual, cleanse myself etc. It’s a great time of year to let go of things and plant those seeds that will bloom months from now. It’s prob a very fertile time…..idk that one though for sure. But I think I can do spells any time of the year depends on yr practice right? Do whatever u want.

Probably because the earth is the sphere where all things are mixed so Earth’s shadow being projected on the moon would bring that mixture into contact with the gate of Hades and the astral plane.

This is the problem with trying to follow what others say about magick instead of following what feels right to you. It’s fear that’s being put into people so they can fall in line with a certain style of practice that aligns with a certain view not relating to the individual. If this feels not a safe time to cast then don’t, but if you feel even more amplified use it to your power.

I was thinking this same thing! Here’s what I remember- There was a blood moon a while ago that was in Scorpio? I think? There was an astrological reason that it was not a good moon to cast. But I very specifically remember something similar and everyone saying stay away.
